Elizabeth's Baptism

Elizabeth was Baptized at St. Phillip the Apostle Parish on Sunday, Superbowl Sunday -- the perfect day knowing her Dad's passion for sports.  Elizabeth wore Colton's gown with a little altering by her Grandma Mary.  The blue ribbon on the gown has been covered by purple and grandma made a perfect little bonnet to match.  The day was extra special for me because I was asked to be Elizabeth's Godmother.  Jon's brother, Uncle Chris, was honored to be Godfather.  This is the second time Chris and I have been paired off.  The first was best man and maid of honor at Laura and Jon's wedding.  The title of Godparent is even more special - we love this little girl!

All ready for her big day!

My Goddaughter

Elizabeth is all laughs for Uncle (Godfather) Chris!

The ceremony followed the noon service so we were all asked to gather around the altar.
Jason graciously volunteered to take photographs.

"Can you believe they're letting us sit on the altar?"

"I think I'll clap for myself... Colton, you too!"

"Stop grinning at the camera and clap!"

Grandpa G -- we miss you Grandma Mimi!

Colton behaved so well during the ceremony - now it is time to burn off a little energy

More fun with Dada

A Vesneske celebration is not complete without a cake made by Grandpa Ron!

"Thanks everyone for making my big day so special" -- love, Elizabeth
