Aruba III - Sunset photos

The weather in Aruba hovered around 88 degrees throughout our stay.  Just typing this makes me dream of the perfect weather, not the reality of snow and 20-30 degree temperatures we arrived home to.  88 would normally be rather hot but Aruba is known for sun, sand, and a constant 15-20 mph breeze.  Therefore, the warm temperatures were comfortable even during the peak afternoon hours.

We spent the mornings at the beach and pool soaking up the sun.  Colton took (or at least attempted) an afternoon nap giving Jason and I some relaxation time in our room or balcony.  Afterwards we ventured out for a walk and to dinner in the early evening.  After just a day or so Colton coined the phrase "bye-byeyeszz" spoken with a little crunch of his nose.  By the end of the week this translated to "Let's leave the hotel room - I want to go run, play & explore!"  Our evening outing was my favorite part of the day.  Colton was energized from his nap, the sun was setting, and we walked along the boardwalk or the main street to choose a place for dinner.  During one of our evening walks, we couldn't resist an impromptu photo shoot with the backdrop of an Aruba sunset.

Our Family + 1

Thanks to the nice couple on the beach who offered to take a few extra photos of us -
this one is my favorite.

I love that huge head that's blocking the sun and those stubby little legs

Pondering with a few "woah's" thrown in... another new word discovered in Aruba

Me, my little man, and my belly (21 weeks)

My photography skills do not compete with Jason's but I still love these shots -
Colton was in his glory.
