Colton's Pre-K Graduation!

It is hard to believe Colton is off to Kindergarten!  It seems like yesterday he spent his first day at Childrens' Kastle.  We have loved watching our little baby grow into a toddler, and now a Kindergartner with all of the love and nurturing given to him by his CK teachers.

Hollyn has been almost crawling since late February, now she is officially crawling!  She started really moving a few days after we arrived home from Jamaica and by the following weekend she was off!

What's the next most precious milestone after smiling?

Colton has been singing the ABCs for months now and I have been unsuccessful in capturing his singing.  When I would bring out my iphone or camera he either stopped singing or insisted he watch existing videos of himself (he's humble).

After months of attempts, here is Colton's debut of the ABCs
p.s.  He had always skipped "L, M, N, O, P" entirely, now he gets most of them out

Fourth Bed

In Colton's 2 years, 3 months and 5 days of life, he has primarily slept in three places - his bassinet, crib and twin bed.  That is a lot of change for a little person and he has been a champ.  We are now ready to introduce him to his big boy bed.

Lately Colton has been very into telling us who has a tail. 

 Hailey has tail, Mickey has tail, Colton no tail, Colton has bum.   

That's right - bums vs. tails!

Gone are the days of just one Mickey.

Colton sleeps with the whole crew and a fire truck and tractor for good measure.  

Even his snow globe from Uncle Steve makes it under the covers every once in awhile.

Bounce and Wave

About a month ago Colton has started to mimic us.  It started with "clucks," sticking his tongue out, and raspberries (I know, not the most socially acceptable).  He has now progressed to bouncing and waving accompanied with his own version of "hi."  So cute -- we just have to share!

Crawl - Clap - Crawl

This is quite possibly one of my very favorite videos of Colton.  He became a much more confident crawler while also learning to clap.  Watch him demonstrate his two newest skills - just priceless.
