Holiday Cheer

As much as I enjoy Christmas day itself, the days and weeks leading up to the holiday are often just as memorable.  Whether it be getting our Christmas tree, shopping or making cookies - I love the whole holiday season.

This year I had lots of extra hands for annual cookie day.  Rebecca and I started baking around 9 a.m. - Emily, Lucy, Danielle & Emma arrived just before we finished baking the cut outs.  After lunch (and a little cookie dough consumption) it was time to decorate.  Our friend Kate stopped for a visit on her day off so we frosted and sprinkled in record time.

Cookie success

We snapped some pictures of the little girls after cookies were complete.

Emma (10.5 weeks), Lucy (13 weeks), Hollyn (24.5 weeks)

2013... The year of the selfie and the year of little girls

Colton appreciated all of our efforts

Spending a little time under the tree

Hollyn actually got a branch in her mouth - not sure how?!?!

Helping wrap presents!

And almost rolling over!
