Christmas Eve 2013

It has been more years than I can count that we celebrated Christmas Eve at Aunt Jess and Uncle Brad's.  A family tradition we enjoy every year.

As part of Colton's routine we have begun to explain the agenda for the day.  Meaning if it's the weekend or a daycare day, what we'll be doing, etc -- this helps him to understand what is in-store.  Christmas Eve was no exception, we told him he would go to school for a little bit, come home for a nap and then go to Jess and Brad's for Christmas Eve party time.  On the way to daycare, Colton said "No Dada, no... Brad house."  It took a little convincing but Colton happily went to play with his friends for a bit.  Afterwards, it was a nap and party time.

Our attempt at a family photo - Colton jumped down before the shot was taken and frankly didn't sit still for the rest of the night.
