Today is bitter sweet; Hollyn is four weeks old and Jason goes back to work after spending all this time home with us. Having time together has been very special and memorable. We welcomed our daughter and watched Colton transition to a loving big brother.
Along the way I was reminded how fortunate I am to have such strong and caring husband. Jason is our rock. He cared for all three of us as I recovered from my c section - changing countless diapers, bringing me endless cups of water, bed time, dinner time, dishes, groceries, chauffeur, and I'm not sure I can begin to count how many books he read Colton. Surprisingly he tackled all this and even managed a few projects around the house once I was feeling better. We have landscaping in our back yard and running water in our basement, yay!
Despite the minimal sleep, having these past four weeks together as a family has been amazing. As much as I'll miss having Jason home, I am excited our little girl is doing so well and is nearly a month old. We love you Dada!
