Colton's interest in Hollyn seems to increase as time goes by. When Hollyn first came home Colton would point and say "baby" and when she cried he would say "baby sad." In the mornings he would sometimes look for her in the bassinet and other days he would be rather oblivious. Now that several weeks have gone by he is really stepping into the role of big brother. Daycare has even noticed he burps dolls and cradles them - so sweet! With Colton home with Hollyn and I on Tuesdays and Thursdays, he has taken on the role of Mommy's helper. He helps to hold the bottle when Hollyn eats, burps her and lately has been asking to hold her. There is nothing more special than watching your baby hold your baby.
In true toddler fashion after about 20 seconds Colton turns to me and says all done. Then, 30 second later once I have picked Hollyn up he says more more again.
Colton can't get enough of his little sister.
Tuesdays and Thursday's have been "Colton Days," we do fun things for a toddler. This means countless walks in the neighborhod to see the big trucks! It helps that we literally live in a neighborhood that is expanding - this space will eventually be Middlebury Lane.
Colton, Hollyn and I also visited the Molnar half dozen (less Joe) for some fun. Colton loved all the attention from Riley, Amelia and Abby while Hollyn met little Jules for the first time. Thanks, Sarah, for having us over - and for the over three hour nap Colton took once we arrived home.

Colton in his glory with all the girls!
