Seven Week Smiles - take 2

I wrote this same post nearly 21 months ago for our little man,  now it's Hollyn's turn.  Our little lady started smiling a few weeks ago and now she smiles nearly every time we talk to her.  There are a few exceptions - she is hungry or needs her diaper changed, then it's all sad faces and tears!

It is how hard to believe Hollyn has changed in just a few weeks.  She now recognizes our voices and notices her toys. We couldn't ask for a happier and more adorable little girl.  xoxo

Family Visit

It was a bit easier coming home from vacation because we had something to look foward to... Jason's Aunt Shirley and Cousin Cori visited from Wisconsin.  Cori and family stayed with us so we were able to spend extra time together.  Colton loved all the attention from his second cousin Aria while Easton (6 months) and Hollyn (1 1/2 months) smiled at each other.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa hosted a family party, there are a lot of us!  It was great to see all the kiddos together. Jason jumped in as family photographer so we captured some of the fun.

The next day, some of us met up to see the animals at the Buffalo Zoo.

After a busy morning, Colton and Aria relaxed with their tablets.

Canandaigua - Final post

Thank you for bearing with all of our vacation photos.  After this one, we will move on to other happenings (finally)!

We had a great time away and will miss the extra sets of hands helping with Hollyn and entertaining Colton.

Canandaigua - Silly Colton

Colton has developed quite a little (well, big) personality.  He loves to showoff, make everyone laugh and be silly.  His teachers have described him as the entertainer.  He did not disappoint this trip, from wearing his net over his head to running around like a wild man, we laughed with our little guy.

We did catch some of this on video, CC even got in on the fun...

If you want this little guy to slow down - just hand him an iPhone or iPad - He freezes instantly

Happy Birthday Papa!

Canandaigua - Fish & Big Trucks

Colton watches excavators and dump trucks often since we live in a neighborhood with houses being built.  After returning from my run I noticed a house was being torn down just down the street from us.  I ran home and put Colton in his stroller so he could catch the action.  Within minutes the little cape cod disappeared.

Checking out the "Big Truck!"

More Daddy time - learning to fish.

Another new discovery - ducks!  Or "beep bees" as Colton calls birds.  CC taught Colton to feed the ducks, luckily this was towards the end of our week away - following the first feeding, the ducks visited us way more often.

Canandaigua - Hollyn's First Vacation

Our little lady enjoyed herself at the lake.  From sunbathing to endless hours in the swing (special thanks to Juliette for sharing), Hollyn relaxed and enjoyed the week away.  She also slept like a champ at night, sleeping for six hours at a time and giving Mommy and Daddy some much needed rest.

Post my first run since being 34 weeks pregnant

Thanks Danielle & Heidi for the unplanned coordinated outfit.
