Independence Day Weekend

How can it be the 4th of July already?  I am hoping the rest of the summer is filled with long days, long weekends and endless time outside.  We celebrated Independence Day with a fun filled weekend with friends and family.  This also marks Hollyn's last 'first' holiday.  In three days Hollyn will be ONE!

Just like last year we started off the long weekend with a visit to the fair in Lancaster.  This year I wasn't nine months pregnant so I could join Colton on all the rides.

On the 4th we went to the Wragge's for a cookout.  The kids had a great time - swing set, bounce house, and sparklers!

But what did my kid prefer?  The tractor in the lot behind Doug & Heather's house.

Almost there girl!  These legs are getting ready to walk!

Silly faces for the fireworks!

Colton loves his sparkler or as he calls it his 'firework'

The next day Jason took Colton for a haircut.  Hollyn and I ran errands and stopped by for a little pool party with friends.

After the pool party and a nap, we headed to CC and Papa's for a cookout.  The 5th also marks Laura and Jon's sixth wedding anniversary.

Six years ago at this time we were enjoying cocktails overlooking a golf course...

Running around CC and Papa's yard like wild people -- burning off the cookie, popsicle and strawberry shortcake!

This was Hollyn's nap on the July 5th -- can you spot Mickey?
She follows in her brother's footsteps.

This was Colton when he started his love for Mickey --
October 16, 2012...exactly 3 days before he turned one.
