Independence Day

My Forth of July memories with Jason have generally involved boating on Canandaigua Lake, relaxing dinners and fun in the sun.  Last year Colton joined us for the trip and took his first ride on Papa's boat This year we kicked the holiday off early with a visit to the Lancaster Picnic on the 3rd of July.  Jon, Laura, and Elizabeth met us for dinner and a few rides.

C & E's 1st Train Ride, supervised by Aunt Laura.

Colton loved our family cookout on the 4th.  Great Aunt Jess and Great Uncle Brad were equipped to make their backyard a dream for a one year old:  hose, sprinkler, pool, trampoline, basketball hoop, radio, and lawn mower.  He kept all of us entertained!

Colton taking his dancing to a whole new level!

Quintessential 4th of July food - Corn on the Cob

Getting cuddled by CC after Colton became a little scared by the early fireworks.
He called them "Booms."

Back to the sprinkler - swim suit #2 for the day

Heaven on Earth -- a near hour ride with Great Uncle Brad

And a piece of flag cake to top off the day!
