My Birthday festivities began on Friday with a little get-together at Brendan & Danielle's - of course we were not at all expecting Danielle to go into labor less than 48 hours later.

Another year older, another year wiser?
Maybe... but undoubtedly happy, grateful and excited about the year ahead.
Between Friday's festivities and my Birthday we celebrated our niece Taylor's 4th Birthday. Taylor was born in the Outer Banks the day following our wedding - making everything even more memorable!

My photo documentation of my birthday was lackluster at best. Maybe it was the fact that we had professional family photos taken the day before or maybe it was my desire to enjoy the day without documenting. Likely a combination of both.

My Birthday was also the first night Colton slept in his big boy bed. We will later learn this was a one hit wonder. Hoping things turn around so Hollyn can upgrade from the bassinet to the crib.
Colton decided to take opening my anniversary gift into his own hands.
A visit with Danielle and Emma - Emma is about 36 hours old here. She is absolutely adorable!
Before a date night, I spent some time on the sidewalk in front of Mr. Harry's house.
