Farewell Summer - Hello Fall

We are on the brink of a change of weather and approaching my favorite time of the year - FALL!  We kept busy these last few weeks taking full advantage of the good weather and sunshine.

We took a family trip to the Farmers Market to stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables

Colton enjoyed a cookie!

Big eyes wearing her hat made by Aunt Laura

Visiting the rescue dogs, takes after his CC

Colton remembering the bridge where we watch for trucks - he won't let us leave without a run on the bike trail

My perfect Fall morning (even though it's technically still summer)

We met Heidi, Ryan and friends at the Clarence Pumpkin Farm while Jason attended a Bills winning game.  Colton would have played on the wooden train all day.

Thanks to Ryan, Colton left the train and visited the animals.

Hollyn was with us too but remained sound asleep the whole time we were there.
I should have taken more pictures so you could see her adorable owl outfit!

After animals we took a ride on the Cow Train!  I love this "home grown" option as opposed to the fair rides we could find anywhere.  Nothing like a barrel, garden hose, some paint to make a little boy's day.

We had to ride in the front so Colton was close to the "Big Truck Tractor"

After the ride we checked out the pumpkin, Colton is more interested in the John Deer about 100 feet away

Hmmm - how do I get to that tractor?!?!

Hollyn and Colton had a visit with Great Aunt Cheri.  She brought Hollyn a special quilt she made and Colton received a big brother present.  So sweet of her to visit and we had a lovely time catching up.
