Easter Sunday

Usually we head to East Aurora for Easter.  This year we were excited to have family over for brunch at our house.  Colton had a little more time to play with his new toys and as you will read later, he easily took a great nap right in the comforts of home.

Same sofa, same ears, same boy -- just one year older!

This year Colton hunted for his own basket.  The Easter Bunny hid it under one of his favorite toys.

Meet the new favorite toy. The Easter Bunny found it at Wegmans (I love Wegmans by the way).
For the past month or more, Colton has been enamored with the brooms from the seasonal aisle - now he has on of his own.

Enjoying coffee cake with CC - stuffed cheeks!

"My cousin is here -- see how much we've grown? Last year I could not even sit up on my own - now we are both walking (well, I run, Elizabeth walks)!  Guess what else, this year I did not try to eat Elizabeth's head!"

You are seeing this correctly, Colton isn't blinking - he is sound asleep in the middle of brunch.  Jason carefully carried the little man upstairs and Elizabeth was the star of the show for a good part of our Easter get together.  (p.s. The same thing happened on Christmas)

Happy girl with Mommy

"With Colton alseep, I am getting everyone's attention!"

Awake at last - let the Easter Egg hunt commence!

"Ohh - hh"

The broom is out and the lawn mower is in!
