Snow, snow & more snow!

An epic snowstorm arrived in Western New York on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.  In 24 hours Lancaster accumulated 60 inches of snow.  We were snowed in from Monday night through Thursday night when we ventured through the driving ban to grab a few groceries.

Jason and I juggled work and also enjoyed time at home with our two favorite people.

Checking out the snowfall Tuesday morning around 7 a.m.

Staring the driveway project --
That mound of snow is Jason's car!

Colton quickly learned the concept of a snow day.
Bring on the chocolate chip pancakes!

This is how Colton spent most of his time while Jason and I attempted to be productive at work.

Hollyn, on the other hand, cleaned.

Tuesday afternoon - lots and lots of snow!

We graciously accepted an invite to the Van Deusen's house.

The easiest way to travel through the neighborhood?  By sled!

Colton, Hollyn, Gabi & David all ready for the sleigh rides home

Brrrr!  Colton stayed outside to help Daddy with the driveway!

Snow day #2 -- more chocolate chip pancakes!

The snowfall slowed in Lancaster, our road was cleared but nearby the snowfall was much greater.  A driving ban is in place so we're stuck home!

Snow day #3, Thursday, November 20, 2014
See that ban of lake effect snow, the south towns are getting blanketed with more snow!

Free at last; Thursday night we ventured out to Dash's!

By Sunday,  nearly all the snow had melted.
