Fun August Weekend

We had a fun filled second weekend of August!  Friday night Colton was on the "lookout" with Jason as we waited for our friend Sarah to arrive at her surprise Baby Shower.  Colton did a great job until he headed out with Daddy.  Sarah arrived shortly after -- so surprised !:)

The next day we had our Second Annual Cross Creek Summer Bash (aka neighborhood party).  Colton took a quick bath in the kitchen sink before getting ready.

 Flashback nine months (11/9/11) - Colton's first bath in the kitchen sink... oh how he has changed!

The Summer Bash took place on an August day that felt like Fall.  This also marked the time when Colton has begun to hold his bottle all by himself!

My friend Heidi and I dressed alike - unplanned, of course, therefore worthy of a picture.
