Happy Birthday Grandpa Bob-Bob!

Our family got together to celebrate Grandpa Bob-Bob's Birthday. What used to be a few grown-ups having cake is now rather entertaining with our little people.  The three cousins get along great and Colton just loves being a part of the fun.

You may also be wondering where "Bob-Bob" came from -- the answer is Taylor.  Since Taylor is the oldest, and was the first to talk - she has had the honor of naming Grandma and Grandpa.  Who are now known as Yamma and Bob-Bob.

 I can feed myself

Taylor played with our camera for a good part of the night -- the two pictures below are the only ones appropriate enough to post to the blog.  She sure got some interesting shots of all of us when she remembered to turn the camera around.

Farewell Keuka

What a week!  It was so nice to be away and to experience our first big family vacation with Colton and Elizabeth.  I must admit, while there are many words I will use to describe our fun trip, relaxing probably isn't one of them.  We were in a relaxing place, and have some moments of relaxation, but vacation with two under one is quite an adventure.

One of the unexpected highlights of our trip is what Colton and Elizabeth did during the week -- things that made us smile, laugh, and love them even more...

Elizabeth...
- Smiles, smiles and more gave smiles!  She had smiles for everyone, especially Aunt   Leigh
- Can get loud -- she probably learned from Colton
- Spent more time sitting up and playing with toys -- especially the yellow ball
- Noticed her cousin and he finally resisted the urge to make her cry

Colton...
- Really moves now -- he has a high powered crawl and is on his feet more than ever
- Started to show his top two teeth -- you can really see them now
- Began to mimic us by making the same sounds, clucks, or faces following our lead    (it's really hysterical to see)
- Shakes his head "no" when he doesn't want something

Belly... need I say anything else about this photo?

Fun with Friends @ the Lake

Friends Kat, Aaron & London are Keuka Lake regulars as they have a family home just a few miles away from where we stayed.  We were thrilled to have them spend time with us -- we had lots of fun together, so much fun that there are a million favorite pictures to share.

Colton is wearing his super hero shirt so he
looks handsome when his girl Londi arrives for dinner.

The new favorite toy -- not sure the attraction but the pink shovel now travels with us regularly

Play time -- Elizabeth even gets in on the action now!

Londi invited Colton to hang out on her dock -- in the whale pool - fun!

Jammie time

Colton and Elizabeth shared a room while were were away.  Their portable cribs were on either side of the recreation room on the first floor of our house.  That was two stories away from where we slept and made mid-night wake ups quite an adventure... flash lights, two sets of stairs, and super fast action when one awoke -- this was all to ensure the other kept asleep.  C & E both had good nights, and they both had bad nights.  Of course, Colton slept through the night on our last night before heading home -- better late than never.

We did, however, have many laughs as Colton & Elizabeth played together in their jammies.  So sweet.

Doesn't really fit here -- but I can't resist posting a Jason flexing photo --
I wonder when Colton will be taught this trick?

Elizabeth looks so comfy.
I honestly can't remember when Colton last slept in a sack -- our boy is growing up.

Colton shows Elizabeth how to stand, bounce, and pound the table all at once.

Big breakfast smiles from Elizabeth

Not jammies - but cute nonetheless.
Colton's strong liking to the broken radio - he pushes it around the deck like a walker.
