Since I was on maternity leave, I had a habit of misplacing things - then it became downright losing things.
After numerous things, Jason and I began to find this funny... below is our list of "Everything lost is found again"
LOST: A Christmas ornament we purchased in San Juan - I put it "somewhere safe" just before Colton arrived. It is handmade and has three people on it - our first family ornament. I searched everywhere in the house all throughout December to try to hang it on our tree.
FOUND: After our Christmas tree was taken down in a basket with my slippers.
LOST: A white gold stud earing while in Varysburg cutting down our Christmas Tree. I even asked Santa at the tree farm to help me look for it.
FOUND: In January while picking Colton up from school, it was inside the lining of my North Face jacket.
LOST: My camera on Christmas day while at Jon & Laura's. I was certain we threw it out with the wrapping paper (and the trash was already picked up).
FOUND: A week later on a chair at their kitchen table.
LOST: One of our favorite gifts for Colton - we lost one reindeer glove and hat in early December when we dropped Colton off at my Mom & Mike's house to attend a Christmas party. All of us looked everywhere for weeks on end.
FOUND: In Feburary in Jason's spring jacket pocket. We checked his wool coat pocket but didn't recall December was so mild that he wore his spring coat!
LOST: Jason's spare car key from our "junk" drawer - Jason emptied the door, I looked too. It was gone and a replacement is over $150!
FOUND: In the "junk" drawer right on top - just found today
It is amazing - we have now found EVERYTHING! I guess it pays to say a prayer to St. Anthony!
