Friends, Four Months & more

It's hard to believe nearly two weeks have passed since I've posted an update.  Jason is home safe from Miami, Colton has turned four months old, and we are anxiously awaiting spring.

Below are a few pictures of the last few weeks.

Florida Adventures

We had a great few days in Florida - our first little family vacation.  Below are a few (well, a whole bunch) of photos from our adventures.

First trip to the beach - Colton found the sunshine at South Beach a little tough on his eyes.

 Hmmm, sand!

uh oh - an unexpected little wave... what an expression!

The pool wins over the beach - the warm water was a huge plus.
Hopefully Grandma CC will heat her pool this summer!

Getting ready to head to Bayside Market for dinner

We are now 4 for 4 on Colton's cooperation during restaurant meals.

This was Colton sleeping in - there is another picture with me sound asleep next to him.  I don't look as cute so I decided to only share his solo shot.  Jason found our laziness rather funny.

Getting ready to go visit the Miami Zoo

 Elephants

 Lions

Giraffe exhibit - just like Colton's Sophie toy.

Colton's first souvenir - he picked it himself!

My Valentine's dinner date (well, one of them!)

Our goodbye  :(  Can't wait to see Daddy again!

Colton and I went for a run before heading to the airport- oh how I'll miss the Florida sun!

Ready to go - despite a little flight delay it's time to head home

Up, Up, and Away (Colton's 1st flight)

Colton and I had a successful flight to Florida to visit Jason.  We were fortunate to have very friendly people sitting near us on the plane who were eager to help us along the way.  Colton was a trooper the whole flight - he slept a bit, smiled a ton and charmed everyone around us without letting out a cry!

Airport arrival and ready to go!

A friendly traveler offered to take our picture before Colton's first flight.

Testing out our shared seat - I am so excited there is a TV for me to watch!

We made it, and I am already feeling the 80 degree Florida weather!
I even got a set of Jet Blue airplane wings to commemorate my first flight.

We met my friend Alison for lunch before heading to the hotel

We made it - Jason had Colton's crib brought to the room

Daddy... FINALLY!  After five days apart, Jason was thrilled to hold our little guy.

Are you ready for some football?

Colton certainly is!  This morning we said goodbye to Daddy for his trip to Miami - then we got ready for Colton's first Superbowl at Aunt Laura & Uncle Jon's house.

Colton is wearing his bear football bib from Great Grandma and Great Grandpa and a football shirt with Kenmore East (Daddy's H.S.) colors from Great Aunt Sue. The perfect outfit for the big game!

Colton is staring at the TV!

One of the boys on the couch

Testing out Cousin Elizabeth's toys even though she hasn't arrived yet!  (shhh - don't tell her)

Again - staring at the game.  We have a football fan here!

Fell asleep during Madonna's halftime show

Awake again in time for finish of the game!  Sorry NH family - Giants won!

We'll Miss You!

It was my first day back to work when we found out Jason would be taking an extended business trip.  Today he left for three weeks in sunny Miami.

Colton and I just couldn't go that long without seeing Daddy so we will be taking a trip to Miami next weekend.  My little traveler will experience his first official flight on Jet Blue (he flew many times while still in my belly).

It will be just 4 short days until the three of us are together again!
