Christmas Tree Day

This is the second year we have joined the Van Deusen family tradition of cutting down our own Christmas tree.  We travel along with 30 others past Varysburg to the Bird Haven Tree Farm.  Colton had a great day!

 We found it!  Well, this was the first tree we saw... and I proceeded to look at hundreds of other trees and surprisingly went back to the very first one.  (Yes, honey - you were right!)  For some reason it just felt wrong to drive all this way and find your tree in five minutes, so an hour later, we cut this one down.

We made it back home and got ready to head to the Van Deusen's for the after-party!
