Big girl hair!

When Hollyn was just six months old, she got a itty bitty trim to take care of some funky side burns.  Now it's time for a big girl hair cut.  We went to Salon in the Tower and she got her first official hair cut.  Jess did a fantastic job considering Hollyn refused to wear the cape, sit or stay still.  I left the salon with a happy toddler (thanks for the sucker, Jess) and covered in Hollyn's hair.  Why did I wear black?

Before.

After.

Colton, on the other hand, goes to Chuck for his hair cuts.  Chuck is Jason's barber since he was a child and the only person to ever cut Jason's hair with only one exception.  Jason had his hair cut in the UK when he was there for nearly two months.

Welcome Baby Emmett

Emmett Christopher Vesneske arrived February 10th weighing a 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 20.5 inches long.  He out-weighed both his cousins by more than half a pound and his big sister by more than 2/5 pounds!

Jason and I went to visit this little guy on Valentine's day!

The little mama met her little cousin when he was a month old.  It was love at first sight.

Five reasons Hollyn made Laura and I laugh & smile...
1 - Hollyn covered Emmett up with his blanket
2 - Hollyn brought Emmett his little turtle
3 - Hollyn dragged Aunt Laura's bobby across the room
4 - Hollyn got a book
5 - Hollyn plopped down and started reading

Punta Cana - Part 3... family meals & entertainment!

Kudos to Colton and Hollyn who survived three meals a day in a sit-down setting.  It's not the easiest to sit still for a 1 and 3 year old; couple that with being in a super fun place with countless distractions.  These two kiddos were great at breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Yes, a little rambunctious at times but overall, I'm a proud Mama!

Very proud Hollyn at the Mexican restaurant

 Cheers!

 Always Mama's baby!

There was a kids show on stage every night.
Hollyn remained shy for most of the week but LOVED running around the stage.

Colton jumped in on the action when there was candy to win!

Morning doughnut routine.
So much for a healthy well-balanced breakfast, it's vacation... so bring on the doughnuts!
Really, it was frosting!

Silly face,

Smiley face.

Smiles.

 Silly (well, attempted silly).

"This is super cool!"

Little girl running FAST in a bit hallway!

All smiles for dinner!

This just makes me laugh.
