Happy Halloween!

Colton and I carved pumpkins on the eve of Halloween.  Colton picked a scary face for his pumpkin and a funny face for Hollyn's.  I'm not sure if my carving did a justice to his vision but I gave it my best shot.

Colton's 4th and Hollyn's 2nd Halloween started with a Harvest party at school.  The amazing teachers at Childrens' Kastle made the costumes with the kids.

Three Years Old

Guess who is 3?!??!

...this guy

This means Jason and I have enjoyed the best three years of our lives.
Three years of parenthood.
Three years of adventures.
Three years of seeing the world through the eyes of Colton.
Three years of wonder with the change of every season.
Three years of excitement over every construction vehicle, tractor, bus, and train.
Three years of loving this little boy to pieces and watching him change way too fast.
We are so grateful.

Rise & shine, Birthday boy!

Off to Kelkenberg for pumpkins!

Heading out to the pumpkin patch -- I don't think the thermometer has hit fifty degrees - brrr!

What's way more fun than finding a pumpkin? -- washing it in ice cold water!

Grandpa G was very impressed with the well-run and efficient operation of Kelkenberg!

Thankfully Colton saved some energy for a spin on his new bike!

Sheer determination!

Good thing we had some Birthday cake left over for the official day!
