While at Uncle Brad and Aunt Jessie's we took advantage of their beautiful yard for a Colton eight-month photo shoot.  As I am posting these pictures I am trying to be decisive and select a few favorites - I am struggling!  It could be the fact that it's nearly 10:30 p.m. on a Sunday following a busy weekend - or - it could be that I just find Colton simply adorable and can't choose.  Nonetheless, here are a whole bunch of pictures I love.  They may be a bit redundant but every single shot makes me smile.

Weekend Celebration #2

To celebrate their 30th Wedding Anniversary Uncle Brad and Aunt Jess renewed their vows today.  It was a great way to celebrate the life and family they built together.  I hope in 28 years Jason and I can look back and feel the same sense of love, pride, and happiness.

Weekend Celebration #1

Saturday we hosted a 30th Birthday party for our friend Danielle.  Spending time with friends = the perfect way to enjoy a Saturday.  Emily also had her camera and (I hope) did a much better job then I did with capturing a few shots of our little men.  As soon as she posts, I'll share a link to her blog.  In the meantime, here are a few pictures from Danielle's soiree.

Work, 8 months, and ice cream

A fever struck again on Father's Day.  I'm not sure if you recall, but a fever also struck on Mother's Day.  It's a good thing we are now far from a holiday!  Colton traveled with me into work to pick up my laptop so I could get some work done at home.  Believe it or not, he's sick in these pictures.

On Tuesday, Colton turned eight months old!  Despite still being sick, he tested out his new shades.  "Grandma Mike - I'm ready for the boat!"

Later in the week when our little guy was feeling better, we went out for ice cream with the Tallman's.  Colton & London love it!

First Father's Day

Father's Day as always been special because I love my Dad.  What I didn't expect is how extra special this day has become seeing Jason as a Dad.  From the moment Colton was born, Jason has been enamored with Colton - and Colton with him.
